I think I like this tie, but 1) I don't have the flare for tie style that Chris and Dad do* and 2) maybe I can't see what that print actually is. Also, Chris has something on his chin, which looks suspiciously like honest-to-goodness grown-up facial hair. weird.
*I suspect you think I'm being sarcastic, but I'm not.
This tie was actually worn successfully by Capt. Geo, but many years ago, and with a grey suit. Now it is a little stained, and a little narrow. The pattern is best described as 'pips.'
PS-You are correct. Dr. H [Sr.] and I both do have good taste in ties. You may compare the ties that we [non-ironically] wear with those of other men to confirm the truth of this.
I also like this tie. It is both stylish and nostalgic. Also, it is a lovely shade of yellow.
Susannah--check ties 1, 2, and 3. The scruff has been with us all week. Oh, dear. Perhaps he's hoping to make a dramatic transformation when he goes out to dinner with his lovely wife after finishing a week of bad ties and dissertating.
Learning, exploring, creating, thinking, laughing, living, helping and loving our wonderful lives out here on the hippie fringe. It may not be India these days, but still, there is never a dull moment... you're welcome to join us for the ride!
